PUPILS at Wellington Prep School celebrated Harvest Festival with songs and poems in the chapel.

The congregation sang harvest favourites such as ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’ and ‘If I Were a Butterfly’, and the children raised the roof to ‘Harvest Rock ‘n’ Roll’.

Nigel Renyard led the service and John Young played the organ, and parents enjoyed refreshments in the Prep School afterwards.

The harvest boxes will be donated to Taunton Association for the Homeless.

Reception pupils also harvested apples in the sunshine and the fruit was put through the press to make apple juice which they enjoyed with a slice of apple cake.
