EIGHT children from Sampford Arundel Pre-School went to have lunch with residents at Oaktree Court Care Home in Wellington.

They even took gifts of courgette plants which now have pride of place on the Oaktree veranda along with a cucumber the youngsters had grown from seed.
Everyone enjoyed the visit and plans are being made for the children to visit again for a craft session in the near future.
