Hello children, I hope you are all well and have had a good week! Don’t forget to wash your hands often!

On Thursday, Dad was a bit stressed out so I suggested we played some games together to relax. It took a while for him to get into it, but he really enjoyed it once he found his stride! He said he was really grateful for me afterwards. I’m glad I could help him!

On Friday, I watched a few films I haven’t seen for a few months, like ‘Lilo and Stitch’ and ‘Brother Bear’ with Mum and Dad. It was really nice to sit down with them and just watch films without needing to worry about doing my homework, because I didn’t have any!

Mum did an online shop and had it delivered to us on Saturday because she couldn’t go out of the house. We were really thankful for the workers who delivered our food for their hard work! I hope you’re all staying safe and only going out when necessary!

Despite wanting to go out on Sunday, I made sure to stay inside. So, instead of going outside, I played some more active games inside, like hide and seek and treasure hunt. I played most of them with Dad, but Mum was really good at hide and seek when I got her to play with us.

On Monday, I helped Mum make some dinners that would last a while that we could have frozen so we wouldn’t run out of things to eat. I’m really looking forward to having some of those dinners, because they smelt amazing as we made them! There were a couple of pies and some stews. They all looked delicious.

I started to miss my friends on Tuesday so we arranged to set up a call on the Xbox and chat while we all played our own games. It worked out really well! Mum said she was impressed with our idea and decided to do the same with her friends with an app on her phone. It definitely made us all feel less lonely, being able to talk to our friends, even if we couldn’t go see them!

There are no birthdays this week!

If you or your family would like your name mentioned in my Birthday Club then please chat to Mum or Ellen about putting your name on the list.
