DUE to the spike in Covid cases, particularly at the primary school, the Christingle service at St Marys parish church, Hemyock, due to be held on December 4 and which normally sees the church full, has been cancelled.

Christingle bags - which will be available from St Mary’s church porch, Hemyock, from noon on Saturday until Wednesday (December 4 - 8) For those unable to collect,they can be delivered within Hemyock and the immediate local area – email Helen Williams: [email protected] / phone 07739 463873, to request a bag, and state how many Christingles are needed and where to deliver to.
The Christingle bags are free, although the church would love it if those who are able could make a donation to the Children’s Society, to help them support some of the most vulnerable children and young people. Details of how to donate will be included in the bag
