TRADERS in Wellington are being urged to attend a meeting to discuss the annual Christmas lights switch-on event and the display of Christmas lights.

Hattie Winter, of Taunton Deane Borough Council’s Economic Development Unit, is also keen to talk about anything that can be done to promote Small Business Saturday in Wellington. The aim is to hear traders’ views and to see what more can be done to promote Wellington and encourage more people into the town.

The meeting is at the United Reformed Church Hall, Fore Street, Wellington, at 7pm on Monday, March 21. The meeting is open to everyone and it is hoped to see as many people there as possible.
