MAYOR of Wellington Cllr Janet Lloyd visited Langford Lakes Christmas tree farm at Langford Budville on Thursday to choose the Christmas tree for Wellington town centre.
Reg Hendy, who runs the farm with his family, is pictured with Janet beside the 30ft Nordman Fir Langford Lakes is giving to the town, as it has done for many years.
The tree will be put up in High Street outside the old Post Office and will form the centrepiece of the town’s Christmas lights switch-on event on Saturday, November 30, from 4-6pm.
The town council would like to thank Langford Lakes for the tree.
Further details of the switch-on event will be published soon.
