CHURCHWARDEN June Best is seeking people to abseil from the tower of St Giles Church in Bradford-on-Tone.

The 66ft abseil on Saturday, September 23, is in aid of the roof restoration fund. June said: “We need to raise a total of £95,000 for the restoration fund – we already have £60,000, so the more people we get signing up for the abseil, the nearer we’ll get to the total.”
