STAFF at the Co-op in Fore Street, Wellington, have been raising money for a specialist bed at St Margaret’s Hospice with a cake sale and raffle.

They organised the event last Friday and Saturday after Susan Bellringer approached the store – her step-daughter, Sandra Lowman, died at the start of the year.

Pauline Hayes from the Co-op approached local businesses for the raffle and lots of generous prizes were on offer.
