VISITORS to Appley Community Apple Day are invited to take along wheelbarrows, tubs, car boots and sacks of apples – along with plenty of bottles for the juice.

No charge is made for entry or the apple pressing at the event at Appley Pavilion on Sunday (October 8) from 11am-4pm.

Food and drinks will be served all day – £5 bangers and mash, £2 apple pie or crumble.
