COMMUNITY groups, charities and schools in the Wellington area are being invited to apply for £1,000 worth of building materials to help with a winter project as part of the local branch of RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund.

Whether materials are needed to build a Christmas grotto, help put on a pantomime, or ensure a community centre is protected against winter weather, RGB would like to hear about it.

Groups can nominate by explaining how receiving £1,000 of building materials would be of benefit to them. Nominations can be made by email to [email protected] or by post to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Sunday, November 5.

From all the nominations received, three groups will be selected as finalists, then the local community will be asked to vote for who they would like to receive the building materials.
