THE Blackdown Community Choir is looking for new members.

No auditions are required and the emphasis is on singing for fun and enjoyment – the choir’s motto is “if you can talk you can sing”. The choir meets in term times at the Baptist Church Centre in South Street, Wellington, and the leader, Caroline Rigby, provides a wide range of songs that are varied and exciting.

This year the choir will have the chance to sing at local events as well as perform with other choirs at Bristol’s Sing for Water event. A choir exchange is planned with another similar choir.
