THE Conquest Centre at Norton Fitzwarren, which offers the chance for disabled people to take part in equine activities, is holding an open day this weekend.

Visitors will be able to meet the team, the horses, chickens, rabbits and goats – and cream teas, face painting, fete games, craft stalls, a bouncy castle and more will be on offer.

The event is on Saturday (June 24) from 11am-2pm and the suggested donation is £1 a car with all proceeds to the Conquest Centre.
