NEW Year 7 students at Court Fields School in Wellington took part in a Battle of the Choirs.

Each class performed an individual song as a class choir and then all six classes came together for a whole-year performance of the song ‘One And A Million’.

Class choirs were judged by head teacher Rachael Bennett and Mayor of Wellington Cllr Gary James. The winning class was 7b2 which sang Rather Be.

Head of Music Sarah Chidgey said: “Congratulations to all the students involved – there was some lovely singing by all and we hope this will become an annual event.”
