COURT Fields School in Wellington has hosted a Year 5 Sports Festival.

More than 170 Year 5 students from Court Fields’ feeder primary schools attended and all were very keen to take part in the Leadership and Teamwork themed activities.

About 30 Court Fields sports leaders organised and led the activities and worked hard all afternoon. The feedback from the Year 5 children and staff was very positive and everyone had a great time.

The children took part in team activities where their communication skills were put to the test and also had the chance to work together in teams using tactics to solve challenges.

Primary staff were very complimentary about the way the sports leaders encouraged and interacted with the Year 5 children.
