ROAD safety and roads policing teams have been carrying out ‘enhanced operations,’ including in the Wellington area, where officers are being supported by PCs and PCSOs from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

The teams are targeting repeat offenders and speeding hotspots based on information and footage provided by the public.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’ve also been working closely with partners, including Community Speed Watch groups and local authorities to find solutions to some specific road safety concerns.”
