FANS of all types of needle craft are catered for in a new group at Wellington Library, which meets for the first time today (Wednesday) at 2pm.

A spokesman for the Library’s Friends Group said: “We had discussed having a Knit and Natter group or Crochet and Chat or even Tatting and Talk. In the end we decided to cater for all needle-based skills.”

The group is open to everyone who enjoys making needle-based items and discussing their skills.

A new library-based reading group was launched last month.
