Traffic was held up near Wellington town centre at rush hour last Wednesday morning after a car crash involving four vehicles.

The incident involved a grey Peugeot, and a parked white van, and black Range Rover and classic Volvo, which were both badly damaged.

Two people were taken to hospital but were not believed to be seriously hurt in the incident which happened in North Street, near the police station.
