CBBC star Richard McCourt, known as ‘Dick’ in the duo ‘Dick and Dom’ is asking Wellington people if they are ‘ready to boogie?’.
Mr McCourt will perform a DJ set at the Reminiscence Learning 12-hour dance-a-thon on Saturday, February 28, in Oake Village Hall.
Reminiscence Learning is a charity that supports carers and those they care for with memory problems and dementia through workshops, support groups, and activity sessions.

Richard McCourt, said: "I visited the dance-a-thon in 2024 and it was such a heartwarming event and great to see so many people from the area supporting such a worthwhile cause. I know too well how dementia can affect families.
“I lost my mum at an early age to frontotemporal dementia, raising awareness and vital funds is so important.
“Reminiscence Learning provides valuable support to families in the local community and beyond.
“Are you ready to boogie?"
Tickets can be purchased by visiting the charity’s website.
