THE CLOSURE of a creche at Wellington Sports Centre has been blamed on a lack of demand.

Spokesman for Tone Leisure, Joel Chapman, said the move had taken place after the organisation, which runs leisure services on behalf of Taunton Deane Borough Council, was tasked with making savings following a reduction in the annual grant funding from the council in July.
