Fire engines from Wellington, Taunton and Cullompton attended a fire in an end-of-terrace house at Crosslands, Wellington, on Friday morning.

Firefighters using breathing apparatus searched the house to ensure no-one was inside and confirmed the occupant was safely out of the property.
The fire was put out using eight breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, two safety jets and two positive pressure fans.
The fire caused 50 per cent fire damage and 100 per cent smoke and heat damage to ground floor. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
