CHILDREN at Rockwell Green Primary School enjoyed a multitude of sporting activities on Sports Day – and parents joined in the fun, too.

Pupils took part in hurdles, javelin, long jump and an obstacle course – and competed in either sprint or egg and spoon races with all points going to their house total.

Air was the winning house and house captains Charlie and Kayleigh are pictured proudly holding the cup.

The parents’ races, in which children’s family members battled it out, were a particular highlight of the morning.
