THE Blackdowns Early Music Project’s Spring Festival closes at Wellington School Chapel next week.

Its principal musical director JanJoost van Elburg will direct The Bartholomew Consort of Oxford on Sunday, June 9, at 6.45pm.

The programme is entitled Komm, Heiliger Geist and includes music by Johann Walter and a succession of his pupils and their relatives – all by name of Bach,

JanJoost is a highly respected interpreter of the Bach family’s music, performing their repertoire regularly in the WesterKerk in Amsterdam.
