HOUSEHOLDERS in the Wellington area have been notified about kerbside waste and recycling collections over the festive period.

Somerset Waste Partnership says pick-ups for the week beginning Monday, December 26, will all be a day later than normal – including Monday’s collections on Bank Holiday Tuesday and Friday’s on the Saturday (December 31). All collections in the week beginning Monday, January 2, will also be a day later.

Garden waste collections will not take place between Monday, December 26, and Friday, January 6, resuming on Monday, January 9.
