LIBRARIES across Somerset may be closed because of coronavirus emergency but books and more are still available online.

Thousands of free books, audio books and magazines can be downloaded at www.somersetreads.co.uk, and anyone who does not have a library card can join online free of charge by going to the website and clicking on the ‘join here’ link.

A range of content is also available via social media, including story-times, fun activities and links to reliable sources of support. Search for Somerset Libraries on Twitter or Instagram, or look for Somerset Libraries UK on Facebook.

n Library users who have borrowed books or DVDs do not need to return them until library buildings re-open and no overdue charges will be payable.
