Wellington fire crews only 30 minutes into New Year before first emergencyThe course is aimed at children aged six to ten and will include movement on and off apparatus, body control and safe landing and rolling techniques. It will run on Wednesdays from 4.30.5-30pm.
Head coach James Marshall says Excelsior ADC is one of the few gymnastics clubs which has more boys than girls and many of the boys find it useful when going to play other sports like rugby.
He added: “Gymnastics is one of the best ways for young people to discover new ways of moving. The club recently received a grant of £2,000 from the Postcode Lottery to buy new equipment.”
