Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a good week.
On Thursday, I woke up early and did some homework to get it out of the way. I am really enjoying science at the moment, and I am trying to remember lots of facts to make posters and drawings.
On Friday, mum went shopping and bought the ingredients to make brownies, yum! We spent the morning baking but we had to wait ages for them to cool. I helped tidy up afterwards and was so tired I had to have a nap. When I woke up, the brownies were ready, so mum and I had one for pudding that night.
On Saturday, mum, dad and I went for a walk around the woods. It was really nice getting fresh air. The weather is definitely getting hotter and we saw lots of bluebells, which means Spring is here! That afternoon I spoke to Toby on the phone and he told me he’d been fishing, which sounds like so much fun.
On Sunday, I spent the morning playing video games online with Toby. We have started playing a new game called Fifa where you can control players in a football game – I won the first game, but Toby won the second. For dinner mum made a roast dinner which was delicious, the cabbage was a bit smelly but mum said if I ate it I could have a brownie for pudding, so I tried it and it wasn’t too bad!
On Monday I did some more schoolwork and I learnt even more about space. I have started researching space travel and rockets. Did you know the first man on the moon was called Neil Armstrong? I didn’t! I decided to make some fact sheets and mindmaps but I want to create more things to do with space - maybe a rocket?
On Tuesday it was really sunny outside, so I played football in the garden. I have been practising my ‘keepie uppies’ but at the moment I can only do five. As it was so hot dad and I made fruit smoothies - they had strawberries, raspberries and bananas in them - super delicious! After dinner I spoke to Toby on the phone and we played Fifa again, what a great week!
