Court Fields School, Wellington, gave students an Enrichment Week involving a host of activities before breaking up for the summer holidays.

Years 7 and 8 had days out at the Ultimate Adventure Centre, Woodlands and Croyde.

Other activities included paint-balling, visits to Go Ape and We The Curious, and Year 10 students went on geography and history field trips as part of their GCSE courses.

In-school activities included students participating in a drama, music and art project.

They came together to create a Wellington mural for the outside of Eliot Block: “We wanted to do something that would be about Wellington,” said creative and performing arts lead Jo Binmorie, who oversaw the project with her team.

Assistant head Sarah Westwood said the subject choice was partly because the school was greatly supported by the Wellington Community One team. “We work closely with the local community,” she added
