RED Priest, dubbed ‘the world’s most extraordinary baroque group’, is returning by popular demand to Wiveliscombe.

The four-member group’s visit to St Andrew’s Church on September 20 has been arranged by Milverton Concert Society and is being linked to the 10Parishes Festival, although the festival ends the previous week.

Their ‘Baroque Extravaganza’ is a thrilling programme of baroque masterworks performed in Red Priest’s inimitable, high-energy style.

Red Priest previously visited Wiveliscombe in 2021 when they played to a sell-out concert.

Based in the UK, they have also toured coast-to-coast in America, Mexico, Cuba, and Canada, and performed in prestigious festivals in nearly every European country, as well as Israel, Lebanon, Japan, China, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand.
