MEMBERS of Wellington Operatic Society are preparing to present a cabaret evening of songs from the musicals.

A combination of experienced older singers and the youthful voices of many new members are rehearsing under the watchful eye of producers and seasoned operatic society performers Ashleigh Payne and Christina Green.

The show will include favourite numbers from Wicked, Mary Poppins, Les Miserable, Blood Brothers and many more.

Performances are at the Arts Centre in Eight Acre Lane from November 8-12 at 7.30pm with a matinee on the Saturday.

The box office is open at Odette’s Tearoom in High Street, Wellington, and tickets are £8. There is no online ticket service for this show – tickets are only available from the tearoom.
