HOBBY photographer Paul Steven, from West Buckland, was among the winners in a photography competition with this picture of three Highland cattle on Exmoor.

He won the category for photos taken on a smartphone in the world famous Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year awards.

The competition attracted thousands of entries and the VIP awards ceremony was held at the Mall Galleries in London presented by celebrity chef Prue Leith.

Paul, who took the picture on an iPhone 8 Plus, won a glass trophy and a goodie bag containing a bottle of Taittinger champagne.

Last year Paul had a second place in this competition, a third in 2016 and a highly commended in 2015.
