Staff from Nynehead Nursery will be heading off on a sponsored adventure walk on Thursday to raise funds for the group.

The walk, from the pre-school to Wellington Monument and back, will be in fancy dress – and those who make a donation will have the chance to choose which outfits should be worn.

“We are aiming for £1,000 as, sadly, because of Covid, we weren’t able to have any charity event,” said organiser Lily Moore. 

The nursery is planning to upgrade toys and equipment – and to welcome the children to a new forest school inside the nursery garden in September.
