CINEMA Obscura’s current season continues on Sunday at Wiveliscombe Primary School New Hall.

Sunset Song (15), directed by Terence Davies, is adapted from Lewis Grassic Gibbon’s novel.

It follows the plight of Scottish farm girl Chris (above) as her loving husband Ewan enlists in the Army at the start of the First World War and returns home on leave a changed man.

Doors open at 7pm and the film starts 7.30pm. Membership is £30 (couples £50) and guest membership is £5.
