FIREFIGHTERS were called to Humphreys Road, Wellington yesterday evening, Tuesday, after a fire was reported to have broken out.
Two fire engines from Wellington station attended the scene.
On arrival crews confirmed that all occupants were out of the property and that flames and smoke could be seen coming from a first floor window.
The fire was in a first floor bedroom and involved a television and various items of bedroom furniture, including the carpet and curtains.
The fire was quenched by four firefighters wearing breathing sets, using two hose reel jets.
Fire Investigation Officers attended the scene and confirmed the cause was accidental.
No injuries were reported.
