FORMER Wellington School and Wellesley Park Primary School pupil Amy Blythe – nee Eastmond – has completed the equivalent of five marathons in five days – setting off from Plymouth to run to Lyme Regis along the South West coastal path.
Amy, who loves running and the Devon coastline, attempted this formidable challenge to raise money for two causes dear to her heart – Motor Neurone Disease and Anxiety UK.
Amy experienced unpredictable weather with rain, gales and sunshine making the task more difficult, plus varying conditions underfoot.
She was accompanied by a number of friends and family on various legs of the journey which helped keep her going. She is extremely grateful to all those who helped her en route and who sponsored her.
Amy lives and works in Exeter where she is a sports massage therapist.
