FUNDING has been approved to survey drainage systems at two sites in the Wellington area with the aim of tackling flooding.
The schemes are on the A38 at Rumwell and the A38 at Chelston, in both cases to help decide what work will be carried out for Somerset Rivers Authority. Somerset County Council has given the green light to five projects costing £155,000 in Taunton Deane aimed at reducing the risk of flooding.
