A WELLINGTON garden centre is counting the cost after floods struck this morning for the third time this year.

Carol Grabham, owner of Willowbrook Garden Centre on the A38 Wellington to Taunton road told the WWM this morning: "I'm absolutely gutted.

"The flooding is worse than it was last time."

The business has been trading just weeks after the last flood in September.

Schools are closed this morning after 26mm of rain fell on our area overnight.

Among those affected are Kingsmead School, Wiveliscombe Primary, Churchstanton Primary, Langford Budville Primary, and Rockwell Green Primary.

All Berry's school bus services have been cancelled this morning as drivers reported they were unable to get through in many places.

Wellington town centre was gridlocked earlier after the town's relief road became impassable, and in West Buckland flood water was reported to be at waist hight in places.

More updates to follow.
