NYNEHEAD Court and Nynehead Church are holding a flower festival next month with local community groups providing floral displays on the subject of ‘Village Life’.

The event is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 9, 10 and 11, and has been organised by Nynehead Court care home.

The displays are by groups including Nynehead Pre-School, Nynehead and District Local History Society, Nynehead Gardening Club, Nynehead village hall, Nynehead Amateur Dramatic Society and Nynehead Court residents, and will be on show in the church. The church bells will be rung on the Saturday of the event.

The festival provides societies and groups in Nynehead with an opportunity to come together to give an insight into their contribution to village life, with all profits going to Nynehead Church.
