MUCH more than flowers and vegetables is on offer at Wiveliscombe Horticultural Society’s 103rd annual show at Kingsmead School.

Crafts take pride of place along with children’s entries, photographic entries, good raffle prizes, super teas and the model railway, which has always been so popular.

Anyone who has a classic car they would like others to admire can enter the Classic Car Show held in the grounds of the school. Entry is £5, including free entry to the flower show.

Anyone who has plants, vegetables, crafts or poems they would like to enter can do so until Saturday, August 12. Entry schedules are available around the town.

The horticultural society is always looking for helpers – at the show and on evenings before – just turn up, you would be most welcome.

The show is on Saturday, August 19, and starts at 2pm – entry is £2 and 50p for children.
