THREE decades of line dancing in the UK have been celebrated at a social evening at Wellington Rugby Club.
Party-goers dressed in red, white and blue, and United States flags decked the room at the event on Friday.
Jacky Waymouth, instructor of the Flying Eights group, was among the first people to teach line dancing when it arrived in this country and has been teaching in Wellington for 11 years.
The Flying Eights – named after one of the dances – meet at the Rugby Club on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings, and at Wellington Arts Centre on Thursday afternoons.
For more information phone Jacky on 01823 665483.
