WELLINGTON town councillor Janet Reed emailed the WWN with this photo of an illuminated Union Flag in Abu Dhabi sent to her by her grand-daughter Rebecca Harcombe.

The flag was intended to show solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena last week.

Rebecca, who is a primary school teacher in Abu Dhabi, is the daughter of Paul and Julie Harcombe, who live in Pyles Thorne Road, Wellington.
