SEVERAL Wellington businesses have been nominated as finalists in this year’s Somerset Life Food and Drink Awards.

Moonbeams Farm has been nominated in the Best Food Product of the Year category, Rosie’s Larder in the Best Independent Food Shop of the Year section, and Odette’s Tearoom in the Best Newcomer of the Year and Best Tearoom / Coffee Shop of the Year categories.

Wellington Food Festival organisers Bev and Sarah Milner Simonds said: “It is great to see businesses local to Wellington featured in the finalists list. Odette’s Tearoom is at the heart of the festival area and Bumblee’s Preserves will be showcasing its produce on the High Street. We offer our congratulations to all finalists and wish them the very best of luck.”

The winners will be announced on Monday, September 15.
