Churchinford Pre-School ran a cream tea which proved popular raising more than £240 for the school, with Trewithen Dairy giving the clotted cream and milk. Moonbeams Farm supplied the barbecue, which had to be served indoors.
Ross Henley, the local councillor, took a turn behind Black Tor brewery’s bar and Kerry Thorne won the raffle prize of a large hamper made up of items from stallholders.
