FORMER Wellington School chaplain the Rev Derek Laughton has died aged 92.

Wellington Town Council offers 'tips & tricks' for residents to tackle climate changeMr Laughton, who was at the school from 1964 to 1973, leaves a wife, Dawn, and children Claire, Christopher, Adrian and Fiona.
He said he accepted the post at Wellington School because of his immediate liking for the headmaster, James Stredder. Mr Laughton moved to Sussex when he left but kept his house in Pyles Thorne and returned to Wellington when he retired.
His funeral is tomorrow (Thursday) at St Michael’s Church, Galmington, Taunton.
