NIGEL Grabham, managing director of Willowbrook Garden Centre, near Wellington, has died suddenly at the age of 68 while on holiday with his wife Carol in Tenerife.

Mr Grabham ran the garden centre with his wife and son Steve, who are both directors.

A former student of Court Fields School, he also leaves behind a daughter Louise, who lives in the Yeovil area, and three grandchildren.

He is a former Wellington firefighter and enjoyed sea fishing.

His most recent passion was cars and he was a member of the Aston Martin Club.

His funeral service will take place at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Thursday, February 11, at 2 pm. Family flowers only are requested.

Donations will be shared between the Beacon Centre and the League of Friends at Musgrove Park Hospital, and may be given at the service or sent c/o the funeral directors, H Tredwin & Son, 15 & 17 North Street, Wellington.
