THREE girls aged between 13 and 15 who were arrested after an attack on a Rockwell Green home which left a 14-month old baby with injuries caused by flying glass, are to perform gardening and household tasks for the family of the baby in an effort to redress the harm caused by their behaviour.

A police spokesman said: "Working with the girls' families and the injured parties, we all believe that it is best that the girls repair the harm they caused directly to the family concerned and to the community, rather than receive a punitive measure by the police or courts."

The attack came at around 7.15pm on Monday, December 1 as the family sat watching television after tea.
