The new Pandas support group for families dealing with pre- and post-natal depression, founded by Rockwell Green woman Tina Collin, had a great turn-out for its first meeting.

Tina, who lives at Dobree Park, said: “Families came from as far as Bridgewater, Taunton and Minehead way.”

The next meeting is on Wednesday, February 19, when Stacy from Nurtured By Nature in South Street, Wellington, will teach relaxation skills.

Pandas is a non-profit charity which meets at the youth centre in Mantle Street, Wellington, on the third Wednesday of the month from 12.30-2.30pm. It would welcome any contribution from businesses towards the cost of the venue.

Tina, who has 20-month-old girl and two other daughters, aged 11 and 12, is involved in playgroups in Wellington and Rockwell Green.
