LOCAL people are getting the chance to have their say about a proposed mental hospital.

Montpelier Estates, which wants to build the £20million secure mental facility on the Westpark26 business estate at Chelston, is staging a 'consultation clinic' for interested residents to meet company representatives face to face and discuss the plans.

The company plans to submit a planning application early in the New Year.

The consultation clinic will take place at the United Reformed Church Hall in Wellington between 11am and 8pm on Tuesday, November 30.

Each clinic will be one-to-one and last between ten and 15 minutes.

Sessions must be booked in advance.
