A SERIES of public meetings has been called to tell people about plans for new local developments.
The meetings follow the adoption of Taunton Deane Borough Council's development 'master plan', the so-called Core Strategy.
The first meeting takes place at Wellington Community Centre, White Hart Lane this coming Monday, January 28, from 3.30pm-7.30pm.
The Core Plan sets out the long-term vision for future growth in the borough and identifies strategic sites
Officials will be on hand to explain how sites for development will be identified in Wellington and Taunton, as well as the major rural centres of Wiveliscombe and Bishops Lydeard, and the minor rural centres of Cotford St Luke, Milverton, and Churchinford, Creech St Michael and North Curry.
The dates for the meetings are: Wellington Community Centre, White Hart Lane, Monday, January 28; Bishops Lydeard Village Hall, January 29; Cotford St. Luke Community Centre, February 4; Churchinford Village Hall, February 11; Wiveliscombe Community Office, February 13; Milverton Victoria Rooms, February 18.
All meetings take place between 3.30pm-7.30pm.
