A Head-On Collision between two vehicles has left one of the main routes into Wellington closed.
The crash occurred in the early afternoon of Monday, August 21, just after midday, when a Toyota minivan and a silver car collided on the corner of Milverton Road near Burchill's Hill.
The crashed vehicles caused the highway to become blocked, and remained on the road at around 12.30 pm, when two police officers were on the scene.
A queue of traffic including a number of lorries were forced to turn around at Crosslands when they found the road inaccessible.
