St Margaret’s Hospice Car has launched a Christmas tree collection scheme in areas including Wellington.
A team of volunteers will be collecting real Christmas trees from outside people’s homes and businesses on Saturday and Sunday, January 15 and 16 January in exchange for a donation to the hospice.
St Margaret’s will be collecting trees from the postcodes TA21 8 and TA21 9.

“It’s a great opportunity for people across Somerset to dispose of their Christmas trees after the festive season while making a donation to St Margaret’s.
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to the local people and businesses who are generously donating their time and vehicles to help us collect Christmas trees – there’s still time to get involved and join our Christmas tree crew."
